Welcome to The Museum of SMBIA! Here, you can find the history of the aircrafts that previously operated in SMBIA.
The first aircraft is a famously well-known Concorde operated by British Airways (G-BOAC). It was used for flights from SMBIA to London-Heathrow until the last flight in 1980 and retired here at SMBIA. It was the second aircraft to fly on this route. It can be seen in this picture as the aircraft in the foreground.
The second aircraft is a Boeing 767-300ER Delta Air Lines (N189DN) in Colors in Motion livery. It was used for flights from SMBIA to Tokyo-Narita until it's retired in 2007 when the aircraft replaced by the new Delta Air Lines with Upwards & Onwards livery still operating until now. It can be seen in this picture as the aircraft in the background to the right.
The third aircraft is a Boeing 747-400 British Asia Airways (G-CIVB) in British Airways' special ethnic livery: Chelsea Rose. It was used for flights from SMBIA to London-Heathrow via Hong Kong. The last flight and retirement of this aircraft took place in SMBIA in 2001. It can be seen in this picture as the aircraft in the background to the left.
